Search On File

 Advance Search allows the user to search the File through various filters.

 
For Advance Search on files process, the user needs to perform the following steps:
 
Search on File on the basis of Scope:
 
1. Click the Advanced link, as shown in Fig.eFile.1

2. Choose File in the Search for bar.
 
3. Type the Year, Letter Date, File number, Computer No., Subject, Category, Scope etc in the respective fields . As a result, Search result appears (Fig.eFile.1).
 
4. Click the Search Files  button.
   
5. This is the actions that can be performed on Inbox of user who has logged in.

The Scope field of searching a Receipt/File/Dispatch divides into two categories:

Global Scope: It specifies that a user can search a Receipt/File/Dispatch in an organization.

Section Scope: It specifies that a user can search a Receipt/File/Dispatch within a section of an organization.

Example: NIC is an Organization which has sections like eOffice, ePanchayat and Administration etc.
If a user choose Global Scope (Fig: eFile1.1), then Receipt/File/Dispatch can be searched at the organizational level. i.e. in all the sections which comes under NIC.
If a user choose Section Scope (Fig: eFile1.1), then Receipt/File/Dispatch can be searched within the section.
